Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Arrive in Kochi, Fort Kochi heritage walk and a Kathakali performance in the evening.

  2. Day 2

    Drive to Munnar with stops at Cheeyappara waterfalls and the tea museum.

  3. Day 3

    Munnar sightseeing — Eravikulam National Park, Mattupetty dam and Echo Point.

  4. Day 4

    Drive to Alleppey and board an overnight houseboat with lunch and dinner on board.

  5. Day 5

    Disembark after breakfast and transfer to Kochi airport.

Is Munnar cold?

Evenings drop to around 10-15°C in winter. Carry a light jacket even in summer.

How many people fit in one houseboat?

A one-bedroom boat suits a couple; two and three-bedroom boats are available for families and we quote accordingly.

Can we do this trip in the monsoon?

Yes, and it is beautiful then, but some hill viewpoints get fogged in. We are honest about that before you book.
